This summer, Paw Paw Waste and Recycling Station got a makeover.
Grants, in partnership with the Van Buren Conservation District, paid for this great project. Thank you to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Recycling Infrastructure Grant and The Recycling Partnership for funding. Van Buren County Board of Commissioners also supported the project with funds. Without this partnership, this project would not have been possible.
Thanks to the upgrades, we look forward more recycling. We want to increase access to recycling and better the experience for all. Staffing at the station, will allow us to meet the needs of the community and hear from you on your experience. New signage is coming soon and will be the final piece to direct folks around the site. We encourage Paw Paw township residents and neighbors to use the facility . Annual recycling passes are now available to reduce one time fees for folk not in Paw Paw Township.
We look forward to all the new and returning faces at the waste and recycling center. Together we all make an impact in our environments and economy with our recycling efforts.
