How the township is run
Our township is run by an elected township board: the supervisor; clerk; treasurer; and two trustees. The board monitors township business, including payroll, the planning commission, the sheriff’s report, the fire board report, and revenues and expenditures. The supervisor is also in charge of making sure that all assessments on taxable properties adhere to the law. The clerk manages all vital records and finance accounts, as well as oversees elections. The treasurer collects all payments for tax and sewer bills.
