The Paw Paw Senior Center provides programs and opportunities that promote personal health, friendship and independence for adults aged 60 years and older. We envision a community that understands and embraces the power of healthy aging to positively transform and enrich lives. The PPSC is an activity center, and members enjoy many opportunities for social interaction, meeting new people with diverse backgrounds and shared interests, volunteering, recreation, exercise, health programs and much more. As a member, you are encouraged to become fully engaged in programs and activities.
Meals are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12-1 p.m. Meals are $6.00 for residents/partners, and $8.00 for non-residents. Meals include a main dish, side dish, dessert, and water, tea, juice or coffee.
The PPSC gets most of its funding from a millage. The purpose of this millage is to provide activities and general senior services pursuant of Public Act 39 of 1976 for individuals 60 years of age or older. Partnering townships also contribute their Senior Service millage money or an annual donation to help keep our center going. Additional funds are generated from generous donations, special fund-raising events and membership fees.
We hope to see you all at the PPSC!
