Notary

The Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer are now both bonded Notary Publics. The cost for residents is $5 per signature and for non-residents is $10 per signature.

Recycling
Paw Paw Township is proud to offer free recycling to our residents. Pick up your yearly pass from the Treasurer’s office. Recyclables are collected at the Paw Paw Township Transfer Station

Summer Hours (April 1 – September 30)
Tuesdays: 11am to 4pm
Fridays: 1pm to 4pm
Saturdays: 9am to 4pm

Winter Hours (October 1 – March 31)
Tuesdays: 11am to 4pm
NO FRIDAY HOURS
Saturdays: 9am to 4pm

Recyclable Material
Newspapers, magazines, phone books, & catalogs
Tin, Aluminum (including kitchen cans)
Rigid plastics #1-7
Glass; green, brown, or clear
Corrugated cardboard
Cereal boxes and other related types of boxes

Non-Recyclable Material
No liquids or hazardous waste such as oil base paint & batteries

Transfer Station Pass
Paw Paw Township offers residents a one-time pass to the Transfer Station each year. The maximum load size per pass is 2 yards (loads over 2 yards will be charged for the additional volume).
Best Way Transfer Station Dump Passes are available for 2023.  These can be picked up in the Treasurer’s Office.  Please be aware the dump passes are for primary residence parcels (PRE) only.  A person’s primary residence, or main residence is the dwelling where you usually live and personally own.  One pass per PRE parcel, per year will be available for a one time pick up.  Once a pass is signed out for that parcel another pass will not be issued.  Thank you for your cooperation.
